If you love the Civic Sedan’s fun-to-drive nature but want extra cargo space, the 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback has everything you are looking for. The sporty and practical vehicle features a roomy cabin, selectable drive modes, and two exciting hybrid trim levels.

Satisfying Inline-4

One reason the Honda Civic is an American favorite is its zippy performance. The entry-level 2025 Honda Civic hatchback houses a 2.0L inline-4 that produces a vigorous 150 hp and 133 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is standard for fuel efficiency, but it comes with paddle shifters to ensure drivers have fun on the road. You can cycle between three drive modes: Econ, Normal, and Sport, to adjust the hatchback’s performance to your driving preferences.

Exciting Hybrid Trims

Drivers who desire instant electric torque can opt for the Civic Sport Hybrid Hatchback or the Civic Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback. Both trim levels feature the same hybrid powertrain with a 2.0L inline-4 and two electric motors, producing a net 200 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque. It is linked to an electronic continuously variable transmission (E-CVT) with deceleration selectors. Pulling the steering wheel-mounted paddles increases and decreases the regenerative braking effect to simulate shifting.

Stellar Fuel Economy

Even in its base ICE configuration, the 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback achieves an excellent 34 mpg combined. Some of its fuel efficiency is derived from the integrated VTC technology, which delays the closing of the intake valves at low RPMs. While the entry-level hatchback’s fuel economy ratings beat most competitors, the hybrid trim levels stretch every gallon to its limit, achieving 48 mpg combined.

Spacious Cabin

Five adults can fit inside the 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback’s cabin with room to spare. The ergonomic front seats provide an outstanding 42.3 inches of legroom, while the rear seats provide a generous 37.4 inches. Additionally, tall passengers don’t have to worry about bumping their heads since there is 39.3 inches of headroom in the front and 37.1 inches in the rear.

Ample Cargo Space

The 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback rivals mid-size SUVs in cargo space, offering an incredible 24.5 cubic feet to store away your belongings. If you are hauling a bigger payload, the rear seats can be folded to expand the available cargo room.

With ample cargo room and exciting powertrain options, the 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback makes an excellent daily driver. Come see us at Bristol Honda of Bristol, TN to take a closer look at the hatchback and discover more of its features.
